This is not a new program, but new to us; and one we feel we are now able as a community to actively support in this somewhat post-covid world.

             How it works is simple...

Collect aluminum tabs from cans...pop, juice, beer, whatever has a tab. The tabs are taken to a metal recycling depot that pays for the aluminum by the pound. The money is deposited into the Robert Hampson Tabs for Kids Fund at Easter Seals Ontario. To what end? ... Those funds are then turned into Wheelchairs and other adaptive equipment purchased for children. Easter Seals Ontario administers the fund and purchases the equipment.
We are encouraging our members and the community to save their tabs.  Members can bring them to a regular meeting.  The community can contact President Shirley Bullock (705-789-7793) to arrange for a drop off.  Thank you for your continued support!
