At our recent member meeting, we had the pleasure of presenting President Rick Brooks with his Legion of Honour award and pin. His 35 years of service spans 4 decades and so many special projects. An incredible man and a wealth of knowledge to share with his junior members.
We also had the privilege of having James Bowler, YourTV/Cogeco come to speak to us about the future of journalism. James also spoke of another topic near and dear to his heart…as Executive Director James enlightened us on the merits of Mind-Aid Muskoka and how their services are a much needed commodity throughout Muskoka. We suggest other groups reach out to James and have their members get educated. Let’s spread the word and help show how valuable this service is.
James also drew our June Super Grocery Calendar winners. Once we contact everyone, we’ll post the winners.
